| I just bought tickets for the Jim Messina Show at the Compound Grill in Scottsdale on 8/18/2010. I believe that Jerry and Jim have played on an album together. Messina is a real guitar talent. Can we get some of that Riopelle energy there? Let’s support great music in Phoenix! |

I heard the cowbell ,at a free concert, up north of Phx, , over 30 years ago. It resonated deep feelings of pure ecstasy in me.
The energy of this song is so forceful and overwhelming, it creates a masculine angst ,and it cuts to the soul.
I've been to almost every bar, dodge and Celebrity concert , for the last 30 years, to hear THIS song.
(I missed the golf tour perfromance at westworld ?( my memory is going) , the recent Flagstaff concert, and last year"s New Year's Eve concert , cos I was sick to stand . )
I blast this song, and all His other',s -in SF, on the golden gate bridge and in the haight &, ashburry , every day, driving to work.
Thank You, Jerry, for this heart-felt piece of art...it is treasured...still |
